Our vision is to create a cozy retreat right here in the heart of Lake of Bays, where you can spend your time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Nestled in the hills on a beautiful forested 7 acres, The Bread and Butter Inn is the perfect combination of recreation, rest and relaxation. Unwind with a book in our large living room. Hike through the property and breathe in the fresh Muskoka air while admiring the ever changing surrounding nature. Enjoy the comfort of your private bedroom and accompanying ensuite, where you can refresh yourself with our luxurious amenities.

And what is a good bed without a delicious breakfast? With over 20 years of restaurant and catering experience, Beate (the hostess with the mostess), will prepare a signature Bread and Butter  breakfast to start your day.  You will have the option of choosing from the Bread Carte; a menu where you can pre-order customized dishes, some at an extra charge. Enjoy all of this and more in our spacious Muskoka room.
